Capital repair programme of multi-apartment houses and social facilities is under way in Tatarstan
On July 13, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all regions of the republic, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Aleksey Frolov reported on the implementation of capital repair programme of multi-apartment houses. In particular, he said that 43 municipal regions of the republic, including 995 multi-apartment houses with the total area of 5.3 million square, take part in the implementation the programme in Tatarstan in 2018. It is planned to improve living facilities for over 224,000 citizens of the republic.
He detailed about the capital repair of educational institutions. In particular, Frolov said that 28 general educational institutions, including 16 municipal schools, 12 special schools with the total funding amounting to 681,38 million roubles and 94 pre-school institutions with the total funding amounting to 1b 794,47 million roubles will be overhauled in 2018.
As of July 12, as many as 12 municipal schools of 16 planned are being overhauled and four of them have been repaired. In addition, the capital repair of 12 special schools is under way. As many as 85 pre-school institutions of 94 planned are being overhauled.
It is also scheduled to overhaul 11professional educational organizations - resource centers (colleges), 42 cultural facilities, 28 youth clubs, 38 buildings of executive committees of municipalities, 19 municipal archives, 120 buildings of outpatient centres.
Under the programme of “Providing water to Tatarstan citizens in the settlements”, it is planned to build 231 kilometers of water supply networks.
Under the programme of “Restoration of street lighting in Tatarstan settlements”, it is planned to build 354 kilometers of power transmission lines.
Frolov also said that it is scheduled to overhaul 64 machine and tractor fleets, 128 grain-cleaning complexes, grain storages and covered granaries, 232 cowsheds, 11 vegetable stores and to build 123 silage – hay trenches in the current year.
As part of implementation of priority project “Development of comfortable urban environment” two bln roubles are allocated from the regional budget and 655 mln 108,9 thousand roubles from the federal budget, as many as 60 public space facilities, in particular, 28 parks, 16 embankments and beaches, 6 streets, 3 garden squares, 4 avenues and one square are planned to be developed .
Frolov also briefed on the preparation work of the facilities for the upcoming heating season.
Minnikhanov called the preparations for the upcoming heating season "the number one issue" and instructed to keep it under control.
