29 May 2020, Friday

This was announced at a recent online conference "Infrastructure projects: a course towards urban development" by the deputy head of the department Nikita Stasishin. “The development of private housing and low-rise buildings not in capital cities, in my opinion, is our hidden reserve, which, with the right direction of support measures, will give an explosive amount of input and improve housing conditions for people,” - Nikita Stasishin emphasized. The state program for the development of private housing in Russia was developed by the Ministry of Construction in conjunction with the state-owned company DOM.RF as part of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”. The document aimed at increasing the availability of housing in Russia and bringing the annual volume of commissioning of private houses (individual housing objects) to 40 million square meters of housing in 2024, should be approved by a separate Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, the draft of which has already passed the discussion stage.

Recall that in Tatarstan, individual housing construction is flourishing. By 2025, an increase in the share of private housing in the republic and in the total development volume is expected to reach 50%. According to the Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farit Hanifov, over the past 10 years, the share of individual housing construction in the total volume of housing commissioning is 40–45%. “For the period from 2020 to 2024, it is planned to significantly increase the volume of individual housing construction from 1.1 million square meters up to 1.8 million "squares". So, according to the results of 2018-2019, in Tatarstan, approximately 1.1 million square meters of housing were introduced as part of individual housing construction. It is expected that the share of private housing in the total input in 2024 will be 50%,” - the minister said.
