In 2022, 65 healthcare facilities will be built and repaired in the Republic of Tatarstan for a total of 7.5 billion rubles according to federal, republican programs and non-program activities. This was announced today at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin.

The Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Sadykov and the head of the Zelenodolsk municipal district Mikhail Afanasyev also took part in the briefing on the implementation of the primary healthcare modernization program in the Republic of Tatarstan.

According to Marat Aizatullin, there are two republican programs in Tatarstan — capital repairs and construction of stationary health facilities. As part of the modernization of the primary level, paramedic-obstetric stations, outpatient clinics are being built and polyclinics and hospitals are being repaired: 24 hospitals in 16 municipal districts are being prepared for planned repairs with the construction of two facilities.

Also, as part of the implementation of the republican program, it is planned to build 25 facilities: 23 paramedic and obstetric stations, a pathology and anatomical department in the Apastovsky district with the opening of a general practitioner's office in the Arsky district. Major repairs of 17 buildings of central district hospitals are provided.

As part of the implementation of the national project "Healthcare" and the federal project "Modernization of primary care" included in it, 29 paramedic and obstetric stations in 26 municipal districts, 2 polyclinics, 2 outpatient clinics and a general practitioner center will appear in Tatarstan.

In general, taking into account republican and federal funds, 52 paramedic-obstetric stations will be built in the republic. "Contracts for all these facilities have been concluded, full–scale work is underway," said the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Answering journalists' questions, Marat Aizatullin noted that the programs for the construction and repair of healthcare facilities in Tatarstan, which were adopted for 2022, are not being adjusted. In terms of construction materials and equipment, such as ventilation or engineering, contractors have started working with Russian manufacturers or countries friendly to Russia to the maximum.

"There is no doubt that the objects will be completed on time and with the quality that was laid down in the design and estimate documentation," Marat Aizatullin stressed.
