22 March 2023, Wednesday

Today, the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the section on the development of the construction complex and the building materials industry of the Scientific and Technical Council, which considered the possibilities of using large-format porous ceramic blocks in the construction of facilities under state programs.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilshat Gimaev, members of the Scientific and Technical Council, representatives of executive authorities, customer services, design and construction organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan.

“It is pleasant to note that in terms of housing construction, the Republic of Tatarstan is in the top ten among the subjects of the Russian Federation. Such large–scale construction, as well as the implementation of national projects and republican programs, is impossible without a developed regional base of the construction industry,” Ilshat Gimayev began the event.

The deputy head of the department also noted the significant contribution of brick manufacturers to the implementation of construction projects, emphasizing the conditions for a successful transition to new forms and methods of construction.

According to him, silicate and ceramic bricks are successfully used in the construction of facilities under state programs on the territory of the republic. However, today large-format ceramic blocks are not used enough, which have improved thermal conductivity characteristics, especially during the construction of social and cultural facilities. In this regard, it is proposed to discuss the accumulated issues of the use of these products in the construction of facilities on the territory of the republic.

“I would like to express confidence that our joint work with commodity producers, designers and builders will help to improve the quality, durability and reliability of buildings, structures and other infrastructure facilities being built,” the Deputy Minister addressed the audience.
