Marat Aizatullin got acquainted with the construction of a school for 1224 places in Kazan

Today, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin supervised the construction of a secondary school on Sibgat Hakim Street in Kazan. The school for 1224 places is being built within the framework of the national project "Education".

"Today, the readiness of the school is estimated at 70%. More than 1.5 billion rubles have been allocated for the prompt execution of repair work, all contractors are on schedule. By July 1, it is planned to fully complete construction and installation works, furniture provision and landscaping," Marat Aizatullin said.

At the moment, the internal bricklaying, installation of load-bearing metal structures, waterproofing of basement walls, installation of windows, installation of heating mains, installation of elevators have been completed. Engineering networks are being completed at the facility.  Currently, interior finishing works and landscaping are underway.

The four-storey building, with a total area of 24,508 sq. m, will have offices, two swimming pools and a dining room on the ground floor. On the second and third floors, an assembly hall, two gyms, a library and offices will be equipped.

The educational institution will be adapted for children with disabilities: elevators and ramps at the entrance groups are installed in the building.

It is planned to place basketball, volleyball, tennis and a football field on the territory of the school.

The Minister also noted that 11 educational facilities will be built in Tatarstan by September 1. Four large schools are being built in Kazan, two schools for 1501 places in Naberezhnye Chelny, one school for 500 places in Arsk. Small schools are being built in four municipal districts of the republic: Tukayevsky, Vysokogorsky, Alkeevsky and in Mamadysh.

"In terms of capital repairs of educational facilities, all planned 269 facilities will be commissioned by September 1," the Head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan added.
